In January 2015 I bought my first home. My goal is to pay it off in under 20 years. My preferred goal is 15 years so the house would paid off when I am eligible to retire from my career (at 55) but would be happy with anything under 20 years.

My housemate moved out in early December. After a few small changes to the house I will be looking for a new roommate in 2017.

I also own a small business that I started in 2006. This is a company I would like to run in my retirement (planning for July 2029 at 55).

Hardwood in living/dining and office new carpet in renters room.
Select tile for baths and laundry.

Pay Day tomorrow!

Pay Day is tomorrow. I can't wait because I am going to pay off the National credit card. I am hoping they give me another 0% interest rate so that I can transfer my last one balance that has a higher interest rate and pay it off quickly. It is not that much and it is already added to the pay off plan I have to be debt free by January 2009!!. I am just so excited to pay off that card tomorrow. I am also going to be able to pay off another card by January. I am so excited!!
