In January 2015 I bought my first home. My goal is to pay it off in under 20 years. My preferred goal is 15 years so the house would paid off when I am eligible to retire from my career (at 55) but would be happy with anything under 20 years.

My housemate moved out in early December. After a few small changes to the house I will be looking for a new roommate in 2017.

I also own a small business that I started in 2006. This is a company I would like to run in my retirement (planning for July 2029 at 55).

Flooring selected & half the house is done!
Hardwood in living/dining and office new carpet in renters room.
Select tile for baths and laundry.
Select flooring for master.

Sell ceramic animals from yard

Netherlands here I come!

Tomorrow i leave on my trip to visit my sister and her family for two weeks. I am very excited but still have a lot to do! i need to locate some beef jerky for my brother in law. last gift i need to take. my other sister has a whole suit case of stuff for them. it is going to be hard to move through customs with the size of the suitcase!

I won't be here for the next three weeks until i return!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and see you when i return!

How exciting! My friend and I were going to take a trip to the Netherlands to visit my friend's brother, who was living there -- but he came back to the states before we got there! I was so bummed. Enjoy yourself!
